Great idea. Strangely, didn’t work for me; gave an error of “Supplied text does not seem to contain WordPress plugin information.”.

I use google chrome, so select-all might perhaps take text elements which your input did not expect.

Ovidiu, I know “Plugin Central”. I used it prior to WP 2.8. But thanks anyway.

The thing is, (a) it only provides a simple list, and (b), I’d hate to install a plugin only to obtain the list every now and than. It would be sitting there consuming resources for nothing 98% of the time. That’s why I figured an external tool would be the right answer.

just to let you know, the “plugin central” plugin provides similar lists of used/installed plugins
